Logline:
A Vietnamese art student experiences unsettling visions that she needs to understand to repair the fractured relationship with her father.
Synopsis:
Triggered by the loss of her mother, a second-generation Vietnamese art student living in the UK, experiences unsettling visions which she needs to understand so that she can fully express herself in her artwork and ultimately repair the fractured relationship she has with her father.
Cast:
Kim Nguyen is a German actress, writer, and director of Vietnamese heritage. She has performed at Münchner Kammerspiele and Maxim Gorki theatre. Kim has also appeared in commercials, short films, and Bavaria Filmstudio's pilot episode "Tonk". She directed and produced "Really Really" at Pepper Theatre in Munich and is currently working on her first short film "Reborn". Additionally, she is part of the development team for Film Afrika's "The Fantastic Farinis".
Leslie Ching was born and raised in Hong Kong and moved to the UK in 2017 and established his acting career as a self trained actor. He is best known playing the lead role in World Fiction (2022) directed by Darryl Duah Boateng, as Fathers in Parallel (2022) directed by Rosanna Lee, and Shè (Snake 2023) directed by award winning Renèe Zhan. He also appears in commercials, infomercials and other productions regularly.
Rene Katiisa graduated from the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology. Sh holds a BA Hons in Drama and Education from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She has worked with Frantic Assembly, Ridiculusmus, Spymonkey, Toby Jones, and directors including Steven Canny, Cal McCrystal, Paul King, and Tom Morris. Currently, she performs with the Bristol Old Vic's Adult Company, appearing in Orpheus and Eurydice.
